Welcome to my home page! I am currently a research assistant at the NASA Exoplanet Science Insitute, working on the Kepler Follow-Up Observation Program. We are coodinating and carrying out some of the follow-up observations of Kepler Objects of Interest (KOIs), many of which extrasolar planet candidates discovered by the Kepler space telescope. As for my background, I have many years of experience studying young stars and their circumstellar material, mainly at infrared wavelengths; it is in these protoplanetary disks that planets are thought to form.
I have been in Los Angeles since February 2006, and it looks like it will be my home for several years (maybe decades?) to come...
